Our Mission
We are a new community of bio-enthusiasts who are passionate about using biotechnology to solve challenges for the local community and for humanity at large. We aim to equip the next generation of scientists, physicians, hobbyists, and general citizens with emerging knowledge and technologies in the biomedical field.
We offer low cost lab space, mentorship, and resources for the general public (and students) to conduct biology research projects. No matter if you are a beginner or expert, we help you to get to where you want to be! We are actively building community projects and youth educational programs. Current topics include personalized medicine, synthetic biology, digital health, space biology and more.
Luna Landing is a nonprofit organization. Please contact us if you want to join our community.

Meet the Founder
Luna Landing is founded by molecular biologist Dr. Yuan Xue at San Diego, California in 2021. Yuan has received a PhD in Molecular Biology in the UK and worked as a postdoc researcher at Yale University and Salk Institute for Biological Studies. She has contributed to several important fields including aging, regenerative medicine, and system biology. She saw the need of a new kind of youth education in biology, where students learn biology not just from text books, but through real-world, hands-on experiences that builds confidence and true intuition.
